These HDPE thermoformed plastics are molded off of original Yamaha plastics and are good-quality reproductions. However, please be aware that they are not exactly like the original Yamaha parts. FTC stocks red and blue seat covers for all years of the Yamaha BW80. These covers fit just like the stock ones and are made just for us by a well known seat cover manufacturer. These covers have the Yamaha insignia on both sides as shown in the picture. Please be aware that the blue covers that we stock match the darker blue of the two blue colors that Yamaha had for stock BW80 covers. If you have the lighter blue color, the blue cover we sell will not be a perfect match.

We are offering these fork seal covers for the BW80. While we have not been able to find fork boots that work, we have found these PW80 fork seal covers that will fit the BW80. If you are replacing your forks seals, why not add some protection at the same time? The part number is 3M7-23144-00-00 and we sell them as a pair. This set typically ships in about 5 business days.

We've been having quite a hard time finding fork boots that are appropriate for the BW80. We've heard that boots for the early Honda XR100 fit these machines, but we are not able to get them from Honda any longer and we have not found any appropriately sized aftermarket boots. If you have come up with a solution and are willing to share the info with us, we will gladly make it worth your while.

FTC stocks genuine Yamaha kickstarter return springs for all years of the Yamaha BW80. The Yamaha part number for this spring is 90508-26136-00 and it is a stock replacement part for all years of the BW80.

FTC stocks replacement DID non O-ring chains (size 420, 104 link) and original Yamaha drive sprockets for BW80 models. The drive chain is a little bit longer than stock, so it will need to be shortened when installing (factory length is a 90 link chain) and the sprockets are original stock size.

The CST Ambush has a very rounded profile with a tightly packed tread pattern on the side, making for a stable ride for hard-packed and grassy riding conditions. This 4 ply tire is available as a size 20x6-10.

If you're using your BW80 as a pit bike at the race track or drag strip, take a look at this tire. It's basically a street tire with a chunky look. This 4 ply tire is available as a size 19x6-10 (stock size).

If you're lucky enough to have sand to ride, this is the tire you want on the front of your BW80. The ITP Sand Star is a 2 ply tire with a dual fin design to keep the bike upright even when the sand is powder soft. This tire is available as a size 19x6-10 (stock size). The Duro DI-K785 is one of the only tires on the market that are available with the original BW80 rear tire dimensions of 18x8-7. This 2 ply tire has a nice round profile when inflated and makes turning easy while providing plenty of bite on the trail. This part typically ships in about 5 business days.

The Duro Thrasher HF277 is a 2 ply tire that performs well on any trail conditions you throw at it. This tire is available as a size 18x7-7 (1" narrower than stock) and 19x8-7 (1" taller than stock). Both of these tires fit on the stock wheel, but if you could use a slightly taller ride height, the 19" tall version is a good option for the rear of the BW80.
